Keys to the City Unlocks Palace Theater Nightlife

02/03/2010

WATERBURY – Keys to the City, New Haven’s popular after-hours hot spot and Connecticut’s only dueling-piano bar, has a new late night location at Waterbury’s Palace Theater. This baby grand phenomenon, that’s guest list is booked solid with reservations almost every night at its Caffé Bottega location, will be the new post show entertainment feature for select Palace performances throughout the year.

Following a successful opening night after the Palace’s presentation of “Mama’s Night Out” on January 29, Keys to the City will return to the theater for two shows directly following the Webster Broadway Series presentation of “A Chorus Line” on February 26 and February 27.  At 10pm, the Palace lobby will be transformed into a world-class dueling piano bar, featuring talented performers, who have traveled all over the United States entertaining thousands of people from New York to Las Vegas and L.A.  From an Elton John impersonator to a Billy Joel sound-a-like, these incredible musicians will be ready to take the crowd’s musical requests, tackling any song from The Beatles to Britney Spears.

The rock 'n roll after party will feature a full cash bar and is free for all guests attending the evening performances of “A Chorus Line.” Non-ticket holders are welcome to enjoy the night, as well, for a cover charge of $5.00. For more information on Keys to the City, visit www.keystothecitywaterbury.com or call 203-624-6200.

Tickets for the Webster Broadway Series presentation of “A Chorus Line” are on sale now and can be purchased by phone at 203-346-2000, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Palace Theater Box Office, 100 East Main Street in Waterbury.
